David,
I'm starting a artist community online, where artists can upload their work, customers can then browse their work and immediately see what it would look like if printed on a t-shirt, sweat shirt, hoody, or even a pair of converse all stars shoes. You as the designer could be featured on our site, and generate lots of sales. We would pay you a royalty for your work. In addition, I am also looking for someone to help design some work that I currently have in mind.
If you're interested in some work, feel free to PM me for further details.

Just incredible! I absolutely love the one with the man who has a robot in his backpack, how they are each suggesting a different direction is really playful and very pleasing. I also love his sandwich/toast hanging from his belt. Again, fantastic work. If I ever have the need, I'll be sure to come to you.

niktitan132: About 1 to 3 days full-days, depending on the detail and polish. Mike Christ: Thanks man! I get the feeling BTC is here to stay. And if so, I want to be on that train to the future! ^^ PrintMule: I'm currently also working on a game myself... unfortunately being able to draw doesn't make it simple to build a game. BTCBuyer: I'll send you a message today! Maurya78, bmoconno, eternity, b!z: thanks! I hope BTC freelancing picks up. ^^ And I can't reply without a picture of course. http://behance.vo.llnwd.net/profiles2/203648/projects/9773791/hd_c47e3823fcb3be3f6e8091efa9740c24.jpg

How grand is your game idea? Maybe we should team up? What platform are you interested in? Desktop or mobile? I can do flash, android, html5, maybe iOS and somewhat slow windows target. EDIT: easiest thing artist could code probably would be an adventure game like Broken sword or Full throttle. It's also the most profitable idea for artists.

I made like 7 prototypes so far. But the one I've got going now is modular. So I can create the basic gameplay and setting and later add gameplay/art/animation/sounds etc how I feel like it. Doing both the programming and art is tricky, but also a lot of fun. I might want to team up at some point, but for now I want to see how far I can push this myself! Thanks for the offer though! ^^ The target platform at this point is uncertain. I was developing for mobile, but now it seems to go towards the console direction. Well see! http://behance.vo.llnwd.net/profiles2/203648/projects/10297471/hd_2b030c063c79563027b1773eef026d7e.jpg

Console is the ultimate option for an artist, your ambitions are good. Depending on the choice you will have to sign up (sometimes purchase) for a dev kit, follow some strict guidelines, but the exposure is well worth it. Or you can find a local publisher to supply that to you for a likely ~50-60% profit, but it would be ok for a first game I guess.

If either of you need a sprite artist at any point i'd be happy to help I can produce a variety of styles; the only reason I haven't attempted a game myself is through lack of coding experience.

Thanks! ^^
Because of extreme price volatility I've changed my BTC/LTC rates to a more variable option. Prices are depending on what is needed.
Send me a message if you are interested!

Good times, good times. :D Bet you can't get Mark Hamill to do any voice-acting for "The Adventures of David Smit" though.
