[13-04-2018] Self-Acclaimed Bitcoin Creator Craig Wright: Accused of Plagiarism

Dr Craig Wright, one of the prominent theoretical proponents of crypto coins, has been involved in another scandal, this time, plagiarizing a mathematical proof to support his theory on mining.

In July 2017, Craig Wright published “The fallacy of selfish mining: a mathematical criticism” to show the proposed changes in Bitcoin was not necessary and could be detrimental to the security of the currency.

The alleged instability of plagiarism was discovered for the first time by Bitcoin Unlimited chief scientist, Peter R. Rizun, who has been a vocal rival of Wright for some time.

Why should this be surprising? For a person who has tried to take credit for Satoshi's work, and has tried hard to con journalists into believing he was Satoshi, plagiarizing some content would come naturally. Craig Wright has already been discredited; you don't need new revelations to do more damage to his reputation.
