They refund a product you bought from a company (most commonly Amazon) without having you physically ship your item back, leaving you with the original item and your original payment (minus a hefty percentage they charge).

However, keep in mind that they most definitely lie and cheat the parent company to complete this (which could lead to your account getting a strike), and even if they boast high success rates you should probably sit down for a second and think about this gray hat decision you're making.

Dammit. There are tons of ads/listing for this with a percentage. This is to steal then, noting else. Physical items are not like digital goods. No explanation of this habit.

It's a double fraud system, and it's a grey hat society.

First fraud, those who provide refund service and takes a cut from the cheat they helped.
Second fraud, those who approach to refund service providers to take help to cheat a system and earn some illegal money, nasty money.

Usually done through Social Engineering (SE), it doesn't 100% and sometimes they fail. But if they do succeed, it is actually against the law since they are actually stealing. What they do is that they complain that the item did not arrive or is broken or whatever excuse to allow them to get a replacement. They then say they have already returned the item, but probably got lost in the mail system. Something like that.

I'd say if you get their service, then you are actually an accomplice in a felony.
