I've finally finishing the basic coding for the charity website I've had for about a month now. I'd like to hear feedback from everyone here and ask that if you have a favorite charity you'd like to see added then let me know through the site (or here).

I plan on having the random/rotating image banner at the top become a group of banner ads that people can bid on with BTC, with the highest bidders getting a banner ad slot. All proceeds going to the charities, of course.

There's also the benefit of top donators being able to advertise a website or such - simply enter your site name as your name and the url as the URL. It'll be on the front page for as long as you're one of the top 5 donators.

www.bitcoin-charity.com

Thanks everyone!

I can't believe the abysmal take-up of this idea: 0.62700001

I thought Libertarians were supposed to be all about private charity? Tongue

I have two off-site backups of the wallet in an encrypted volume with a very secure password in addition to the local copy of the wallet, which is also locally backed up and on an encrypted hard drive. I haven't looked into backing it up beyond this, but it's something I'll research even more once the donations are worth more than a few dollars Smiley

I have faith that it will pick up eventually. It's also possible they're donating themselves. This site is simply just a  convenience for some.
