WE ARE INTRODUCING FRAGMENTS


The mobile-first decentralized platform, which incentivizes developers to build future micro-task applications that we cannot even imagine today. Our goal is to create a trusted platform, by implementing identity-management and agreements on the blockchain and providing self-hosted solutions for companies, while reducing costs and barriers to entry for all -- requesters, annotators, and developers.

Developers earn tokens by creating micro-task applications. Companies and individuals who want to outsource tasks (Requesters), are connected to human workers (Annotators), who use the applications to complete the tasks and earn tokens.

Fragments aims to become the synonym for earning crypto in the micro-tasks economy. “You have a bit of time? Open the app and earn Fragment tokens.”

GROWING CROWDSOURCING MARKET


“Gartner predicted that 75 % of high-performing enterprises will use crowdsourcing in some form by 2018.” [Deloitte]. Based on IBISWorld estimates, the market for US crowdsourced service providers is growing at a 45.5% CAGR during 2011–2016, putting it about $6.5 billion this year. Our aim is to reinvent micro-tasking using a decentralized architecture.

What is a micro-tasking? Microtasking is the process of splitting a large job into small tasks that can be distributed, over the Internet, to many people.

ALLOW EVERYONE TO EARN CRYPTOCURRENCY ON ANY DEVICE


Our development team works hard on the platform and already has private alpha in place. The goal is to have Fragments applications on all devices to enable people to work on micro-tasks anywhere - on their smartphone (Android, iOS), tablet and desktop.

THE COMMISSION FEE SET BY THE MARKET


We do not believe in 0% commission - for the platform to be completely decentralized & continuously growing, realistic incentives need to be in place. The Fragments.network will allow developers to generate income, by building new micro-task apps and expanding to new markets.

Smart contracts ensure fair reward distribution for all participants -- developers, workers, and companies.

We have already onboarded several companies who want to publish their tasks, rather than trying to develop their own annotation tools to constantly solve recurring problems (proper tasks distribution, missing people in the worker roles, task quality,...).

Fragments' founders have known each other since high-school. Between them they have built the largest care marketplace in the Czech Republic and a software development company, providing consulting for FinTech and blockchain startups globally. The core team is based in Brno, Czech Republic.

I read though the whole post but still didn't quite get what the micro tasks would be like but it would be a good idea to have an automated bots do the regimented tasks especially where scalability is of the essence. Organizations are looking for ways to cut down cost and if the project idea comes into mainstream, it would see a lot of organizations queuing up for the services. You don't have any bounty or giveaways to motivate bounty hunters and other crypto enthusiasts in promoting the project?

It will be micro-tasks paid by companies to process their data, for example:

- sentiment analysis of tweets (positive/neutral/negative) for machine-learning
- categorization of data (they got huge datasets and need to categorize it)
- drawing bounding boxes in images
- voice emotions annotation
- finishing tasks on specific websites and checking the results
Etc. support for other types of micro-tasks can be added by developers


To spread knowledge about Fragments Token Sale there will be classic bounty & airdrop.

We plan to release alpha version of the platform where you can try some real-world micro-tasks and earn first Fragments tokens before token sale!

Yes, we are planning bounty and airdrop and you will be able to also earn tokens in our MVP! By completing micro-tasks, we have already partnered with few companies for that.

Working on both Android and iOS app (we know iOS might take a bit longer to be approved, Apple is sometimes quite strict around things with crypto...).

thanks for feedback - we will look at this part and try to restructure it so it is more clear.

It means that we are building platform which can be extended by developers.

You can image it bit like extensions for Google Chrome - every developer can extend Chrome. In similar way, developers will be able to extend Fragments platform and earn money from micro-tasks completed via their micro-task app.
