Hi, I am new in crypto mining created 9GPU rig with rx470 8gb. I mine with simple miner and set cloacking as the image . Problem is it get hang after few hours and required restart for run the rig again. Its on non ac room and i dont add any extra coller fan for gpu. Is the hit might be a issue?

Supposing you are using modded bioses, I think you first need to check memory errors count. I don't know if simple miner can give you memory errors count but if not, try win10 with hwinfo.

I don't think so that heat is the issue here. Have you tried looking at your GPU driver for the temperature when it's mining? If it's anywhere below 85 degrees then it's not the problem of heat. If you're unable to look at it using driver, you may use an external software like GPU-Z to find it out. I'll follow up this thread and try to assist you further, please mention the temperature it's showing while mining and it'd be nice if you share which miner you're exactly using as well.

Try with another miner and different driver. Maybe it's some software issue. Also, try to disconnect cards, one by one. In that way you can check if some particular GPU is making a problem.

Could be a variety of reasons for your issues. Either driver issues, excessive over clocking, excessive temperatures. What's your operating temperature when mining? Have you checked the thermal paste? Are the fans all properly working? Is your BIOS modded?

Your settings are all fine except that your core clock might be a little higher than usual. I have no problems mining at 27-28 MHs with RX470s on 1050/1950 core/memory clock settings. I would instead check hw monitor to see if you get any memory errors. Could be a bad BIOS mod. Or, it could also be your risers, figure out which GPU is causing the crashes first.

Is your gpus bios modded? Looks like not looking at your small hashrate for 9 vc, but stock bios doesn't hold that oc. Is stock oc without undervolting are ok?

As long as your GPU's aren't getting much above those settings I would look at something else. Having said that, it's never a bad idea to add more cooling.

I have a feeling with risers, much more they are the culprit try to isolate it thru running a single GPU on a PCIE x16 slot if it runs fine, you may have now the idea what might be the issue

GPU temperature is at 64C, it's fine. You could try to test/debug with several things:
1. Lower your overclocking setup on both Core and Memory. If your rig could be stable in 1 day, so that's the problem. 2. If it keep restart/shut down even when you reduce OC, you should check your riser and add 1 more RAM to test.
I faced this problem before, basically it could be solved at step 1 which is about overclock. I usually OC only 50% of acceptable range, 80% power limit, keep GPU's temperature below 65C.
