I opened an account with BTC China, and sent a good chunk of BTC to the account. Then, when I tried to do something with it, the website asked me for my trade password. Trouble is, I never was asked to make up a trade password (that I recall). So my funds are sitting there, stuck in my account. Can't trade, can't get them out. The Support, so far, has been completely useless. I tried emailing, and tried the webchat. Nothing.

Has anyone had success dealing with support at BTC China?

Well, BTC China finally got in touch with me. I have to say, they were very professional. I was expecting someone who had difficulty with the English language, but I got someone who seemed to be American-educated. Perfect American accent. So it took some time to get help, but once I got it I was impressed.

Same problem here, got it solved by going again through the sign-up process to see were I went wrong. After clicking the link in the confirmation email you will be redirected to their web site where it asks in red letters for your real name, but if you read closely they want that you issue a 6-letter trade password. You might have also fallen into that error provoking UX trap.
