 the hub melted the fuse when I took it apart  to see what was up. there is a fine cut/slash across some traces.   my 50 plus year old eyes are not fixing it.  

 some one with good hands and eyes can fix it.

I think the 49 port usb hub has a shorted trace.  instead of the fuse blowing the plastic  part of it melted.  


  the sticks  did not die on this hub. I purchased about 2000 sticks since july. 30, 50 ,70 at a time from canary i.t.m / silent s. b.  and crazy guy.

 I kept the dead ones rather then mail back for returns.  When I got dead sticks at .5btc a stick I would mail them back for returns.  but when the sticks got really cheap .1btc or so  I did not bother.


  So I am cleaning up all  my dead stuff.  I  also have a 7 port hub and the dead psu. I killed the psu by running 46 sticks on it.  it was good up to about 30-35 sticks. I posted about it on crazy guy's 49 port thread. \\

I am pretty sure the 49 port hub can be fixed by anyone with skills……    as for the sticks?
