Anonymity, resistance to manipulation and my innate libertarianism
Agreed, bitcoin might just be the tool that will someday bring down central banks, and their control over the world money supply. Aside from that, it serves as a means of wealth redistribution and class mobility, where people who aren't necessatily rich, but are savvy enough to invest in it can be rewarded financially for doing so. -carnivale 1JcCjG1x3fNdtgDC9v61aQYiaw3dXD5QXB

I'm new and didn't even know how to receive bitcoin via transfer (only know gox). The reason I want to use bitcoin is worldwide payment without chargeback possibility (unlike paypal!).
Hope a lot of sellers accept bitcoin in the future.

< 100 BTC is not worth mentioning. Poor souls will always remain poor. Don't miss the failtrain.

I like BTC because it's anonymous, decentralized and no government has influence over it! It's breaking the chains of tyranny and money overprinting in the physical world, bitcoin is showing that no one can force us to do what they want, no one can force us to use their currency My adress is in the signature EDIT: Well damn, I just became a Member today Must Be NEW or a Junior Member!I'm still a relativly new member so I hope I can still get the reward

I am still fairly new to bitcoin. My classmate and I spent all class last night looking into bitcoins.
I like bitcoins because of its simplicity: Mine/Buy/Sell/Trade Instant transfers, confirmations. Safe

I like the concept of bitcoins, or better I hate the concept of fiat money. I'm on the forum to learn new things about bitcoins.

First post here. I became a BTC enthusiast just during the april bubble, have read and learned a lot since then, though I don't hold any coin at the moment. Honestly, what got me excitet about bitcoin is that it plants the seed of an important change in the worldwide economics system. Whether bitcoins fail or not doesn't matter, because you won't change the fact that it existed, and the ideals it carried.

I love BTC simply because it gives people like myself a chance to become wealthy, as well as its rebellious attitude towards centralization.

I like Bitcoin because it allows me a TON of creative freedom as a developer. Instead of begging PayPal, large bank, etc. to handle transactions, and having to be damn sure I'll be profitable before I build anything, I get to experiment with different ideas with pretty much no upfront cost. Decentralization FTW! 1ARgqcqG8rsdUA45SLRQ7LegT1tCTNFJgy EDIT: yes I realize submissions are over, but I wanted to post about why I like Bitcoin anyways. And the address can't hurt

So, the OP paid a 0.0005 BTC fee to send 0.0001 BTC to Lucky Cris. And then Lucky Cris used the 0.0001 BTC to pay the fee for a 0.0006 BTC transaction. In the end, miners got the BTC (and more).

I'm new to the bit coin scene and enjoy the geek aspect of it. I started by getting raspberry pi and programming it to work nicely. Got about 35 USB eruptors running on some anker hubs. I love building and programming the gear to work nicely. Right now I have it running at around 10ghash but looking to get it up to 20 soon. Looking at building some shelving to put all the gear on.
But overall, I love making things work and if it makes a profit someday, it'll be a bonus.
