I'm new to the cryptocurrency scene, but I have ~200 cpu cores available, that are idle most of the time. The machines are running Ubuntu Server 13.04.

Since I'm using cpu cores I understand that Primecoin is the way to go, so I've gotten my hands dirty just running the Primecoin High Performance client made by mikaelh here on the forum (thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255782.0). I want to use this client on the machines I have available, but the problem is that I can't install any programs/libraries on the machines. Thus I want to try compiling the program on my machine using statically linked libraries, and then just copy the executable to the other machines. Have anyone tried this, or does anyone know how to do it?
