bitcoin can now be a good option for long-term savings or investments, but litecoin can give us an advantage over short-term trading. that's why we also have to have litecoin because now litecoin can give profit daily.

I agree. I think they have their own pros and cons, therefore, there are so many points of comparison that one must consider before saying which one of them is better. Like the above-stated reply, Bitcoin is fit for long term investment since its value may be dormant for some times before it would surge back after a couple of months, on the one hand, Litecoin is better for short term because its price is cheaper to invest into, and it can show fair gains in a short time that can give you fair enough profit, which is fit for short term investments.

Why would you choose between the two if you can have bought of them? bitcoin is the most dominant cryptocurrency which is why you should have more bitcoin so when the market has gone bleeding you wont be affected too much because you are holding more bitcoins in your portfolio, you should diversify your portfolio to prevent big loss when the market has started to fail.

LTC is and wasn't ever a competitor to BitCoin. The intrinsic value of LTC did not rise cuz of Coinbase listing LTC in May 2017. It's cuz of a lot more inventions came to LTC b4 they were adapted by BTC (SegWit, LN, atomic swaps, smart contracts).

Bitcoin is what it is because it was first and is still the on/off ramp to most exchanges. It is slowly losing that to ETH and LTC.

As for me, the question is a little meaningless, since these coins are completely different and compare them slightly wrong. But I can only say that one LTC is still very far from BTC technologies

Bitcoin and Litecoin had been busy worrying about price so much so they failed to plan adequately for scaling, and now they are in trouble both.

Bitcoin is king in terms of awareness.

Litecoin is meant to act as a stable intermediary to complement Bitcoin. It's price will increase, but not nearly as much as btc's will.

for me litecoin has no good future although yes it is existing but for me it is not that far that the price of each will worth a lot unlike bitcoin you can trust bitcoin to have a good value in the long run so it is better to choose bitcoin.

For me litecoin are had a good potential in market and the future, it have a good platform. Litecoin and Bitcoin are both profitable but there's a difference between that two, bitcoin is the first and the king of CryptoCurrency that had huge value, trusted and useful Digital currency. And yes it's better to choose bitcoin but it's great if both are we choose.

Well? Let's hear it.

BTC is the king and this comparison is not fair.investment in BTC is always highly lucrative than any other coin.2017 was breakout for BTC.BTC crashed many times but never didappear.BTC is technologically better than LTC.LTC is another good growing altcoin having strong community.right now BTC is unmatchable.

Actually both are good if you want to invest all depends on you who are more interested or more master One of them, but if I have to choose I prefer proven bitcoin with quality and very high price and very easy to get it. but it all depends on the skills being mastered and must monitor the progress of both coins.

Personally, I will prefer Litecoin rather than Bitcoin. I think Litecoin is vastly underrated right now. The founder of Litecoin has a strong mission when developed Litecoin. At the beginning, Litecoin was designed to make transactions faster and easier. I still using Litecoin to transfer or arbitrage between exchanges.

BTC is a good crypto currency, But I think that investing in other coins will be faster than making money in BTC. So, If only these two options, I will choose LTC,because it's cheaper and easier to double.

I also believe that litecoin developers are smart people, but to compare litecoin and biteyon is wrong! Bitcoin is much more expensive and more popular and if I chose a coin for purchase then it would definitely be a bitcoin.

I think bitcoin is better used to invest than litecoins. bitcoin is the main coin in the world of cryptocurrency. bitcoin values are also high and bitcoin is also reliable, so I prefer to use bitcoin

You can compare these 2 coins in terms of the object to be invested:
1. For ordinary citizens, the low cost of coins made Litecoin a convenient and accessible investment asset. Quotes are still in early 2017 ranged from 4-5 dollars. The increase to date amounted to about 6,500 %. The Similar bitcoin figure looks much more modest, and varies between 12-14 %. Compared to the Bitcoin price, $ 136 per Litecoin coin is a very low entry threshold.

2. Recent events refute the myth of linking quotes Litecoin bitcoin to the cost of Bitcoin. For example, in a period of severe correction of the entire cryptocurrency market, when the price of the first digital currency decreased by about 7 thousand dollars, Litecoin was almost the only asset, the cost of which jumped by about 20 %.

3. Litecoin proved to be the best, reacting only a minor correction in the direction of depreciation on the dissemination of information about the sale of Charles Lee (developer Litecoin) all their assets due to the emergence of "conflict of interest".
