When you see the red for the first time in a long period it's not time to buy yet, you should wait couple of days at least, or a week, to see if it is not falling down further. Same goes for the green. Take today's market, for example. It's all in green, but is this the right time to sell? Of course not. Wait at least until you'll be able to have some profit from your selling, because I'm almost sure the price now is still lower than it was when you bought your coins.
