BTC has a crazy spike in value of about 400%, this is not sustainable in "normal" currency but BTC is one of a kind. What’s your opinion on this value increase and how long will it last. No one can know 100%, but why not guess and share your opinion "Define crash" - back to around $100

The thing that worry me most is the speed that it climb, last time this happened it went from 270-80 in 2 hours, that was because of a mass panic after MtGox froze though, but a 400% increase is alot.

I don't see it crashing, but I could easily take a strong pull back and not recover for months.

i think before making a poll like this, you need to define what a crash is. bitcoin is new, unchartered territory. if it were stocks, and the prices dropped 10% in 1 day, that would be considered a crash. but if bitcoins were to go from $400 to $360, would that be considered one?

I think that this is a speculative bubble, but I am not sure if we will retrace to $100.
Predicting the value of Bitcoin seems nearly impossible. It's always full of surprises.

Define "crash".
I expect a correction to 50% of the bubble peak (not yet reached). With a large dip to 25% and quick overshoot to 75%.
The new "stable" median can hold a few weeks/months before climbing again. Shake out the weak hands.

< 100 BTC is not worth mentioning. Poor souls will always remain poor. Don't miss the failtrain.

i hopeit falls down to 300 at least, gives me time to breathe.
This grow lately is too intimidating, I know, YOLO and that shit, but man, money is not so easy to com,e by these days.
I'm so goddamn tired of struggling for every penny.
Sometimes at night I think it would be much easier to take a baseball bat and go for a walk, instead of grinding between the wheels for another week.

Eh, it'll probably hit around 420, and then plummet to like 380. That's my guess. Probably in the next two days.

Seems like most people is positive about the fast growth in btc value, it might be linked with the big increase in difficulty, if that’s the case it could stay this high without a crash.

it's going to get smoother and smoother as more trades occur, the more people exchanging it the less volatile it'll be
maybe a few jumps up and down when some big finance companies jump in, but who know how long that'll be. The date there's a law made by a government?

The buy support behind it at the moment is redic. There will always be a dip, how much is anyone's guess however I highly highly doubt we will see $100 again, maybe $250/300.

Everyone will be voting that it won't crash because they most likely have btc
I also believe it won't crash because I got money in btc and still hopes it goes to 1000
