Will these cryptonight's miners even work?

I was really interested in buying Bitmain's X3 but when i saw the price and also the announcement about Monero fork, i sad to my self wait 

Can these miners work on another coin or..? Like Electroneum or Bytecoin? Or even on Nicehash?

This is an old post, but may a few answers below the OP's question can help other people that have the same question.

Antminer X3 worked on a CryptoNight algorithm. So, as long as you mine some coin that has CryptoNight algorithm, those X3 would work. And also, you can point your Antminer X3 to NiceHash.
