CoinMarketCap

If the coin is traded at least on one of the exchanges, then information about it will necessarily be presented on this resource.

Here you can find information on daily trading volumes, data on the market capitalization of crypto-currencies, price dynamics of crypto-active assets, the price of coins on the market, as well as analytical tools for popular coins including graphics. Information taken from official sites.

Home page shows the coins' rating by capitalization. For each coin information is provided:
           - on what amount in dollars for today is bought this or that coin;
           - how much was traded in the last 24 hours;
           - what is the current price in USD and BTC;
           - trading dynamics chart.

Clicking on a particular coin, you can learn more about the graph of its value, go to the official website of the project or see the data on the development.

The disadvantages of this resource is not the accuracy of the information. Since the ratings are compiled from the averaged values, obsolete information is displayed. Also, the information is updated every 5 minutes.

CryptoCompare

Cryptocompare is an information portal designed for people who invest in crypto-currencies. Here, there are testimonials and ratings of crypto-instruments, wallets, asics, video cards and ICO-projects.

The service demonstrates quite accurate prices in online mode, graphic and market analyzes, collecting data from the top 65 crypto-exchange exchanges around the world. A powerful, informative resource, which includes a lot of useful tools for users.

A visitor can create a profile, subscribe to interesting crypto-currencies or companies, track transactions on different trading floors, learn historical information and analyze the impact of social networks on the market. It is convenient to observe how much you earned or lost trading on exchanges. The price data on the site changes in real time.

Disadvantages of this resource is advertising.

Live Coin Watch

There is an update of real-time data, a personal portfolio, a news aggregator and other small but convenient options.

Live Coin Watch provides such features:
           - data on most online crypts;
           - list of crypto-exchange exchanges and their indicators;
           - courses of crypto-currency pairs;
           - Its own list of currencies for tracking online courses.

Also LCW users can change the information update period in the interval from 1 to 60 seconds, drag the columns with data and quickly convert currencies to the page of a particular coin.

CoinCheckup

The site contains much more data than just basic information about crypto-currencies and their current market capitalization. Currently, the site contains information about 430 different altcoys, with which you can get acquainted with their market capitalization.

The website also publishes a price forecast for the next year, a summary of the profitability of each coin since its launch and a rating of crypto-currencies based on a heap of objective data: developer activity, brand and product quality, social networking and other specific project features.

The home page of CoinSheckup fits much more useful data on the screen than its competitors.

Hmm I might switch to https://www.livecoinwatch.com as it seems to be nice one with information etc. first time I hear about it, thanks for listing it in your text above!

Nice write up, I would like to add similar websites to these listed above:  https://www.coingecko.com/en (like this one as it is full with info + has simple calculator on the website) and these are pretty good as well with nice UI: https://coinlib.io/, https://www.apogeecrypto.com/

These are popular because they give us the average price per coin/token based on many exchanges. Although I do think that many people know coinmarketcap as it is often used as the number one reference to crypto prices I think. Honestly I like when the website has pretty decent information and when UI looks great and sometimes you might want to check price on different websites to see if it matches.

I do not know why this did not get the response at all since he opened a thread one month up. I really advice you to add the Coingecko and the add the application called coinmarketapp. These both will be also work better to get the update of each cryptos in the market.
I see application has been launched from the CoinMarketCap side.
They have integrated portfolio option, news website details which can be helpful for us.

So many people that i know, likewise me, i am conversant with the use of coinmarketcap. The reason being that i find it easier to use.I use Livecoin once in a while. Although coinmarketcap seems to make some mistakes sometimes and that is why, whenever i am using it to check the present state of the market, most especially in terms of prices, i always visit such exchange in order to know the exact price of the coin in question.

Just a tip - coinmarketcap not always shows real price and volume, so if you see something terrible - be sure to check it on the exchange, it may differ a lot

Another app that you can use to monitor your portfolio and price movements from all coins is Coinstats. However, the data is taken from CMC.

Coinmarketcap is one good source of viewing list of coins, marketcap and volumes. But if you look for viewing candlestick or a graph then choose Tabtrader to be more convenient and confidence on your trading.

I'm using the Tabtrader application on my phone. It is very convenient and easy to use. You can put a sound signal, which will turn on when the coin reaches a certain price.

I have blockfolio and tabtrader to monitor my coins, SOmetimes i use coinmarketcap to view the overll marketcap price and market cycle. If you're a good trader then choose Tab trader to have a swing trade/scalping.
