Many persons have been asking me why did the price of bitcoin and other crypto increased so fast in value under 30 minutes,  here is the reason whales whales. An institution put alot of money into purchasing of crypto as of 13th April 2018 , this purchase caused an increase in the value of bitcoin and other crypto currency. I am not still sure of the main reason why there made the purchase,  but I hope it's for good.

There were good news and some good rumors about bitcoin, like soros getting involved and other names and that certainly helped the break to be a bull break rather than a bear break. Also the fact that this time we did not touch the last bottom of 6k was also a strong signal that we might see a bounce.

Technical analysis is rarely right, but that one was a good prediction. I was sad to see we didn't touch the 6k bottom. I was fully expecting it and waiting for it... My mistake. I wonder if it was due to Soros &co buying some in bulk, but on the contrary, I do hear a lot of whales trade OTC.

Maybe it also has something to do with the settlement of the BTC futures contract also. Usually I have observed slight spike or depression in price surrounding events like this.

After several bearish formations being cancelled like the Head and Shoulder and Inverse Cup and Handle the Bulls decided to take control and it can be translated to the Bulls are not letting the Bears take control of the price movement anymore and they did, with this price breakout we saw that Bitcoin wants to be on the bullish side again, staying too long in the 6,000$ price range we see that Bitcoin does not want to go lower than 6,500$. The massive buy up shows that the Bull got tired of playing games.

Note:

• Even though we are seeing BTC above 8,000$ it doesn't mean we are now on a up trend, it is just that in the short term it looks Bullish.
• BTC to be on a uptrend need to break the 9,500$ resistance level and must quickly re-test 10,000$
• This is not a bull trap as clearly the volume and RSI is on the bullish side

The mood of investors has not changed. Those people who believe in bitcoin holding coins at any price drop. They're used to volatility. Those who panic sell coins are new. I think the price on the market is growing very fast because the whales started to act on the price increase. Raising the price of bitcoin is very easy. It is much more difficult to reduce the price.
