The Devs who make coins to mine them then dump them....I have a good list of 4 that I don't particularly like anymore. I would venture that these 4 are responsible for the vast majority of ad nauseaum Alt Coins. Did my research thinking that there was something there...but there wasn't, just false promises sitting on top of a premined timebomb to coin value.

It may be true that some devs developed coins for quick profit, but in the near future we will find that there are not enough coins. When the money starts to pour in the demand for coins will far exceed the supply. As long as the coin has a viable network, it will be bought up big time and its price will skyrocket. Nobody will care if the dev was a "scammer".

Scammer tags aren't given out anymore, and haven't been for quite a while. Feel free to leave them negative feedback I guess?

Your an idiot.
Clearly, OP is not the issue here. You pretty much owned him right there.

Agreed. If this nub knew that any strong currency would survive, he wouldn't need to be posting this BS.

The only time I would really call it a scam is if the devs put Trojans and and stuff the client to fetch your wallet.dat files

Every coin has it's place in the grand scheme of things. It may be that some alt-coins have fallen by the wayside either from intentional gutting, unsound initial premise or just as a result of the explosion of Bitcoin's value. Whatever the reason, they existed, we tried them and in some cases we got burned. At the end of the day we are sitting right on the edge of a new frontier and whilst I have chosen to invest in some coins that retrospectively I wish I had not it's all part of the journey, and frankly I'm just glad I am along for the ride

Some are premine pump and dump coins only This. They make them just for dumping. Not sure why the exchange keeps them afterwards.
