PLAYTIN - anonymous mixing web wallet - off-chain transactions

Over the last months we have noticed an increased amount of accounts that seems to be using our casino wallets as some sort of anonymous web wallet with a built-in mixer. Maybe it played a role that we don't ask for an email address and don't record IP addresses. Or that one can open an account in less that 2 seconds.

The customer is always king, so we added some new functionality for those users.
You can now send funds to some other account, instantly and with no fees - basically an off-chain transaction. A small text message can be attached for the receiver.
To make this more convenient, every account has a public name that can be changed at will. This public name has no relations to the actual login credentials.
Currently the wallet and the off-chain transactions work for Bitcoins and Litecoins. We are considering adding more currencies in the future.

More info about PLAYTIN can be found in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=148689.0

If you guys have any questions or need any other functionality, let us know Wink
Have fun

Paste the configurations of all the daemons and processes involved while accessing your site, censor any private information as you see fit. What host provider are you using and how is your server managed ? How do you handle attacks if you don't record IP addresses ?

That's nice Wink. I understand primarily your service is not an anonymous wallet / mixer but after the recent closure of other online wallets can you offer some sort of proof for longevity?

As per our policy we wont reveal implementation related information.
Our service is hosted on our own servers Wink

Well, as you noticed the wallet is not our primary service. So in sharp contrast to some now gone services we have a working business model Wink

First, I'm not asking for your implementation.

Second, your IP is owned by myNet Internet Solutions so I take that you bought this company so their servers are your own servers ? ...

An API is probably an interesting idea, but I really doubt it would work for a faucet because we work on mBTC as the base unit... Wink
Beside that, we are fundamentally different from them. Assuming it was legit, inputs was a way to collect email addresses and IPs, two things we don't care about. In the end our wallet is more similar to instawallet - instawallet with optional 2 factor authentication that is.

A PLAYTIN account id would probably work better Wink
BTW, funds have to be on PLAYTIN before they can be send to some other PLAYTIN account, because we will not reveal your deposit address. Doing that would be a privacy leak.
However, if there is demand we can add functionality to make clickable links.

No need for this, our site already works perfectly Wink

And as long as we can help fighting this blacklist bullshit by supporting off-chain transactions we are doing the right thing.

"Off-chain transactions", oh dear... in the best case scenario you are using a database which has the concept of transactions, and you are using such transaction to transfer something from user X to user Y. Other than that, your off-chain transactions are non-existent.

Bingo, you just explained off-chain transactions. And since those are off-chain and private the actual transfer of ownership is hidden.
But of course, all those black list campaigners hate this. Therefor we were expecting some hate for doing this.

Anyway, in the meantime the different reactions to this service are really helping when playing this game: http://www.zdnet.com/news/def-cons-sport-spot-the-fed/102697

And you don't see any possible issue with that, yes ? It is interesting that you think are you providing something new.
