I have a question, isn't it possible to claim the airdropped MRC just by signing a message with the NXT address? Nothing against your project but I would not trust typing my wallet seed in an unknown wallet.

It isn't because snapshot was taken by tool delivered from Jelurida developers due to Jelurida Public Licence. You can always audit the code and compile wallet yourself: https://bitbucket.org/mircoin/mrc/overview
