I know there's a few of these right now but I need
a loan of 5BTC until the 28th, I would be willing to
pay interest but no more than 50% my #bitcoin-otc is http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=NoValues
so i can give you a good rating as well. Post here or PM me if you're interested.

Roughly 790% interest per annum by my calculations (compounded).

Seems like a pretty good deal for Lorna Grin

Islamic lending has other issues than interest rate.  At least with an interest rate, anyone who can do the math knows what they are getting into.  Which is the primary reason that Islam (and all the Abrahamic religions, really) are hard on ursury, because most of the people across most of recorded human history couldn't reasonablely be expected to understand the math and know what they were getting themselves into.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

I believe IBB only gives loans to people to start businesses
with, not small personal loans like this.

Actually you can.

They don't borrow money if you're gonna use it to buy computer hardware? That's odd...

you can take a loan and use it for whatever you want.

You can take out a loan to get pizza or pay bills.
pretty much anything.

Yup. I got a 5 BTC loan from them. I didn't even have to be very specific with what I was going to use the money for. I think I would even have gotten the loan if I hadn't specified what the money was needed for at all. In fact, I didn't even have to request a loan specifically from them, I was offered one.

He hasn't been online since August 11, so I sadly don't think he's going to pay you back. Looks like his username is rather appropriate.
