Rx 580 hashrates up and down

Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Using  claymore miner. 4 AMD Rx 580's. Bios flashed and patched.

claymore sometimes does this when i use teamviewer but only one report is lower hashrate, otherwise i think its power try power limit +10% or 15

I think this is normal behavior, some hashrates fluctuations could occur while your rig is working
and I think it could be for several reasons, like overheat of the card which cause the driver to reduce clock of the cards, for example.. or team viewer connection

That's unstable. How often that happens? How's about your OC setting? May you can post here also!
If that happens often, Seem like you need to re-modded your bios.

-If you are referring to unstable hashrates as seen in your miner, then you probably have something wrong overclock settings or some other program is using your GPUs as well.
-If you are reffering to unstable hashrates as seen in your mining pool's monitor, you are probably looking at calculated hashrates vs. accepted shares. Whenever you mine, you earn shares, this is also dependent on luck so sometimes you get more shares, sometimes you get less, regardless of your miner's hashrate.

Although one thing I've found consistently increases hash rate stability is setting priority to realtime in windows task manager.

Based on my experienced mining with rx580 or rx570 if you run this in the daytime there is a little different hashrate to nighttime, it's fluctuating around 28mh/s to 33mh/s so my guess it is because of temperature.

The other reason if you are using team viewer there is different fluctuate, in your first open the team viewer you will see the hashrate is high, but if you stay open your team viewer the hashrate will drop and increase again back.

try to use other remote software I use chrome remote desktop in mobile and I don't see any fluctuate issue when using it.

Im referring to the unstable hashrates in the miner. How can I check if something else is using it? There shouldn't be.

You mod it yourself?
Have you tried different setting? Standard setting or may low setting? find a stable setting first, then you can increase it step by step.

Hardware specs, motherboard bios settings, internet connection, pretty much anything you can think of.

i would bet for this options:

a) bad bios configuration (you would have to tell us if this is a recent problem or this same rig with same bios have been working in the past days without issues)

b) cards hitting max temp due to bad fan config (normally 90, which makes the card throttle and it will reduce your core clock and would see those ups and downs).

c) in my experience, it's not possible to see all cards throttle. I have a 6gpu rig , and temps vary even 10ºC between cards.

d) have you increased the available virtual memory up to 16gb for multi gpu rigs???

e) the last option i can think of is power issues. It can be your PSU or even your electrical installation.  

f) it can also be you ping to the server. 780ms to solve an hash is way too much. Anything above 200ms is just a no go, since your number of stale shares should be huge if that's normal to you. That can make your cards wait to get work, which could mean cards going "semi-iddle".

i don't think it's a riser issue since it's very difficult to see 4 or 5 fail at the same time. I would say this are power issues i think, maybe combined with high ping to server.

Follow this rule.

Only 1 card per sata cable.

2 cards per molex cable.

If you are not following this rule, it's sure that this problem is due to that.

Are you using any of the Claymore miner's integrated under-volting and/or over-clocking options along with your driver settings? I faced that very same problem when I had under-volted too much using the Claymore's miner, while when I totally disabled those tweaks, it started to work smoothly.

If you don't mind, please post your miner's command lines as provided in "start" file. That'd help more in guessing the issue.
