Hi there,

I'm "into" the whole Bit/altcoin world since a week or so.
Currently mining Skeincoins. @ +/- 16 MH/s @CPU and Litecoins @+/- 100 KH/s. (GPU+CPU). Don't know if it 'll be usefull or not. Time will tell.

Don't know which coin is the beste choice. The maker of Skeincoin doesn't reply at his own topic, so I think that coin will me dead soon, sadly.

What coin is worth my time, electricity and CPU/GPU capicity? I don't know anymore. There is too much choice.
Saw the poll, maybe ZeusCoin? Or should I invest in Ripple? Or, or, or....

Aargh, why is this so difficult? Why are there so many coins?  Huh

Just a newb...

To choose which coin to mine, use: http://wheretomine.com/

The best coin to hold is obviously bitcoin. The best coin to mine changes all the time.

For alt coins I would say LTC would be the best. Somehow FTC is still hanging on but the rest in my opinion are nonsense. There are so many alt coins now I can see how it could be confusing. There are also a few pools that do automatic switching to the most profitable coin at the time. Multipool.us is one of them and there are a few more.

For alt-coin mining, I say do a little of everything, if one starts taking off go heavy on that one.

Research the top 20 altcoins from this website: http://coinmarketcap.com/

Then find a couple that you think will rise in the chart. Then support the coin and mine and hold.  Cheesy  Grin  Cheesy
