So I have this friend who has joined this one of the campaigns and when the campaigns end, their bounty manager told them that in order for them to claim their stake rewards they have to purchase the token (the one that he campaigned). So what is it? Is it a sign that it's just a scam or you really have to purchase it?

That's obviously a scam! Bounty hunters are just given their stakes(tokens) for free with no need to purchase any of those tokens. What's the name of that bounty campaign?

There should've been instructions that state the bounty terms. Do you have a link to that campaign? BOunties can be very different and unique and there are no fixed "rules" that every bounty has to follow. But this most likely is a scam, yes. Without knowing the term though, it's hard to tell. Usually, a bounty hunter only participates in bounties of which he read and understood the terms.

my friends have also experienced the same thing, they are forced to buy tokens with a certain amount so that the campaign gift can be distributed to his wallet.

Hmm, if it wasn't mentioned in campaign rules - then they are probably truly desperate to collect money with any possible way, doesn't look good

I think this is a scam! I have never heard that the idolaters have something to buy before they get their reward. I would advise you not to buy anything!

Recently I heard a similar story, I do not remember how the project name, too, to get awards for bounty, you need to buy a few tokens, these are scammers unequivocally

It's a scam mate he already rendered his services to advertise their ICO right? why did he required to buy some to tokens to claim his bounty i mean it's his salary he has a right to be paid. He wasted his time doing all the hardwork anyways this is a first time hearing this despite i am a bounty hunter for months now can you tell what ICO is it? So we can tell for DT member here in bitcoin to tag his account if they have an account here.

Dam that sucks dude, it just changed the definition of bounty hunting. Lolz. Yup, that is surely big scam and you better tell your friend to get rid of that. Also I would like to know which campaign is it and make sure you report that thread to the moderators and place it in the scam accusations. Bounties are made in such way that they give away allocated tokens for your hard work and time that you spend spreading the word about them. You don’t have to buy them.

If there is no such rule in the rules, then they are deceiving! If there is this rule in the rules, then they are making money. This is hegemony! I suggest you give up the activity. To expose them, I would like to know which one of the bounty activities is. Can I send a link?
