I think there is no coin that could surpass bitcoin. As you could see bitcoin has become the center of cryptocurrency which has a huge impact in the market. Since it is the common currency for trades in crypto.

It's incredibly ridiculous to think that bitcoin might be pushed by some other crypto currency. This can not be, because all the currencies revolve around the axis of the market called bitcoin.

absolutely not, at least not in the foreseeable future, bitcoin is the single bridge (spin) of a crypto market that's all the up on the top of a hill (head ),the 2nd place which is occupied by ETH right now is up for grabs and even that can't happen overnight but gradually, the crypto market needs other easier means and alternative roads to access it on that steep hill only then will we afford to euthanize the aging bitcoin,i can see bitcoin being put to rest with crypto going mainstream & replaced by something centralized on the low backed & pushed by bankers & billionaire globalists, they're gonna give you your damn ETF approval before hijacking the market years from now

Bitcoin is a very reliable coin. You can see there are many more advanced cryptocurrencies on the market than bitcoin, but they still can't get past it.

I saw this type of discussion many times and my answer will be the same. Bitcoin will never be replaced or dethroned. Bitcoin pioneered crypto currency and it will be the top coin for many years. Not a lot of people knows crypto currency but when you mention bitcoin, they will know what you were talking about. Bitcoin is like the FLAG of the crypto community.

Ofcourse most of them could, just no way of knowing which one. Just the same as any new startup could surpass Amazon.

As a keeper of value at the moment and in the near future, no cryptocurrency will be able to replace bitcoin. As a means to participate in ICOs, ethereum has quite legitimately taken its place.

I agree with you that there are some altcoins which are doing pretty well on the market, but as to succeeding  bitcoin  I don't think so . Even if any coin will succeed BTC, it will come from the same family probably Bitcoin Cash

No there is not cryptocurrency that can replace the Bitcoin. It is too hard for usual coin to become so powerful to wipe the King out.

It seems to me that this is the least likely scenario. A very large number of people are working on the constant improvement of the Bitcoin code. Therefore it will be very difficult to overtake it.

I agree that to replace bitcoin nobody and nothing will be able. Other coins develop, Ethereum, ripple or litecoin still very young and cannot compete with bitcoin.

I doubt it.  Maybe an outside change of a government coin taking the front seat. Sad that people would be stupid enough to accept a government currency but when big daddy tells the sheeple what to do, they do it.  By the billions.

The competition of each cryptcurrency now is getting better.  We know how bitcoin make a history in this cryptoworld. Maybe someday there will be a coin that can dominate btc it depend what advantages it has.
But what btc did can't be erase because btc is the king of all cryptocurrency. Let see what coin it is to replace bitcoin what history it can make.

It has been proven several times that bitcoin is still the king. Some coins tried to surpass bitcoin, but it never happened. Even ethereum that seem to be next to bitcoin does not seem to be able to. The present state of the market does nit even allow that.

Looking at how and the trend other altcoins are taking i don;t see any coin that is likely to replace bitcoin. The legacy and goal that bitcoin has left is too high for any of the altcoin to fit into. This will make BTC reign for long

It is possible to happen if the value of bitcoin will dump more in the future but if the value of bitcoin will bounceback more stronger for sure other cryptos can not replace bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency on the market.

Well no. There may be many coins in the cryptocurrency business but I believe there's no coin which can ever replace bitcoin. Bitcoin will continue to shine and rise among all other coins in the crypto market. Bitcoin is the future.
