Looks like the "right" name is already taken:

http://bitcoinforum.com/
My forum has all the features I hear every person in here complain about day in and day out..
If http://bitcoinforum.com/ is your forum, why not tweak it out?
Change up the style, add some mods (as well as moderators).
No no no , I mean tweetforum..

http://tweetforum.com/bitcoin
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Do I smell change in the air? Sounds like the temp change was very bad. A few sites have been making horrible changes. Example: userstyles.org went to hell. Windows7forums went to hell, last year?. Start64.com went to hell last year, from the nice tan brown color to a creeping slow ugly GUI. A few others.

I hate change if it does not need fixing. Tongue

Damn! So it looks like I'll forever be the last mod that was appointed on the official Bitcoin forums...

Pretty sad to pride yourself in something nobody cares about.

So I registered, made a post...but it has to be approved by a moderator BEFORE it is posted?

I predict failure.

Are you talking about Tweetforum or Bitcoinforum? I apologize for causing confusion but I was talking about TweetForum in my post not BitcoinForum. BitcoinForum is not mine...

LOL! Sorry for the confusion. I was talking about BitCoinForum.com.

I don't tweet. Signed up way back, but just don't "get it".

Tweet Forum , is just like this forum. Except it tweets all your posts automatically so you don't even have to learn Twitter to use it Smiley. I made this for people just like yourself, please take a look when you get a chance. I am also paying people .25btc for every 100 posts, and will be doing many different community programs to supplement the community and invigorate conversation. You don't have to sign up for anything, just make a forum account and start posting ! Thank you!

I got a "not found" error for tweetforum just now. Paying for posts sounds interesting but it seems like it could attract a lot of abuse.

I just used it and it seems to be working fine.

The old version was using phpbb script that sucks to setup. Now it is using sfm that was very easy to setup.

Sorry to be a little late. I have found your topic only today after posting about http://bitcoinforum.com on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54174.0

I hope you consider to signup to the new version.
