I've been thinking about buying one for awhile but the problem is what I knew maybe 6 months ago might not be correct today. So today or maybe in the near future, what's good out there?

I would like to know this aswel. I don't think they're affordable atm Tongue.
And I don't think printing some plastic is useful in any way.  Wink

No signature ad here, because their conditions have become annoying.

well you can get the printerbot kit for $300 plus shipping, but I don't know about the quality and I'm looking for good value, maybe not the lowest price.

You should look it up on Youtube. $300 is pretty cheap imo.

It's very cheap for what it is.

I have a Printrbot LC v2. You can save hundreds by assembling it yourself, but in my experience they were hard to follow. However the printer works perfectly and its awesome to be at the leading edge of technology!
