if you just think about all that money in piggy banks, its a huge amount. Money is dirty coins and cash are contaminated and spread all kinds of nasty stuff. a cleaner safer option is definitely a plus.

I haven't thought about it, you make an interesting point! I read somewhere that every note contains traces of hard drugs.
