Will this new feature if added, improve the forum?

So some of us post daily on this forum. Wouldn't it be easier if there was an option at the top near Watchlist, that the users could check the replies which are having their posts quoted in them? This will be in order to make any debates going on or the discussions easier to navigate.
Would it help or not? Any other similar ideas?

This is not the first time someone suggests this. IIRC, this feature will be available in the new forum software that is being developed.

For now, what you can do is go to the Advanced Search page and do the following:

- Write your name into the "Search for" field;
- Select "most recent topics first" in the "search order" option;
- Check "Show results as messages" (optional).

This will show every post where you got quoted or someone wrote your name.

You reply on some topic because you think you can help or you'r interested in that topic and have something to say. Which means you will probably read everything in it, and if not than almost everything. So why would you need button to see replays on your posts. Maybe at first it seams like a good idea, but actually it would only help spammers read even less. At least that is what I think.

EDIT: But I guess its not entirely bad idea, it would be useful to have option like that, for topics which are removed from Watchlist.

I'd actually like to have a reply notification unleast as a pm that would disappear when opened. Since I'm reopening my latest posts every other day, I'd love to have some feature like this.

So you mean something like Facebook or other social media's notification? I would love them too to be one of this forum feature. Something like " your post has been quoted by *****" we click that and we arrive at the post that quote our post. It will improve our forum experience by a lot.

I want that suggestion to be implemented here in the forum and I hope it will happen very soon.

Actually, I'm having a problem dealing with replying the members who quoted my posts way back to my newbie days here. What I do to keep updated is I go to my post history, click my post then scroll down the thread if there is someone replies; that was a little bit tiring task to be honest.

I think it would be beter if there will be added a "Notification" button in the menu bar above so that we can essily see who quotes our posts.
