I'm looking to sell a very large amount of BTC. Most individuals I've spoken with are quoting me amounts such as bitstamp -7% or mtgox -10%.
My question is, is it incredibly difficult or time consuming to just get bitstamp to transfer the $ directly to my bank?
Yes, I'd have to get verified, but I'm willing to do that.
Does anyone have any recent experience with bitstamp doing a money transfer to a US bank?

Do you know what their limit is on withdrawal and what their fees are? I'm just missing that on their website apparently. |

SEPA withdrawals are charged with fixed 0.90€ fee once your funds are converted to EUR. Minimum amount for SEPA withdrawal is $10.00. International withdrawals are charged with 0.09% fee, minimum fee is $15.00. Minimum amount for international withdrawal is $50.00.

I've noticed that withdrawals have been taking up to 5 business days which is their limit.
There must be lots of wires going on at bitstamp for there to be such a lag. Usually it take 2-4 business days from my experience but as of recent it has been all 5 days.

I haven't seen any published withdrawal limits, but it seems their site limits individual withdrawal requests to 999999.99 USD.

For these amounts I also would recommend to shoot them a mail or give them a call beforehand.
