Hi everyone. I'm building my first rig and have some worries about the PSU's I am using.

I have 10 X inno3d 10603gb with Samsung ram.
H110 pro board
G440 processor
Ballistic sport 4gb ram
2x EVGA 750 GQ, 80+ GOLD 750W
10x Riser Card Adapter PCI-E 1x To 16x Extender USB3.0

The evga PSU's have 4 VGA ports.
I understand that an 8 pin VGA cable can carry 150w and that if I am running a 1060 at say 70w the riser can take up to 70w too.
So by my calculations I should only be able to run 4 cards per psu. 70w for the 1060 and 70w for the riser.
I have looked into server psu's but have heard they are quite noisy which I would like to avoid. So do I just save for another psu to run my extra 2 cards or is there anything else I can do?
I want to make my rig as safe as possible.

Kind regards
Steven

Hey there you are in the wrong section.

This section is strictly for Bitcoin mining; you need to post in the alt coin section. It is found further down the home screen.

Wish I could help with your problem but your rig is twice the size of mine lol. Good luck

1060's have a low TDP. With a power limit set <80%, generally <100W including the risers. You should be fine running two cards per VGA port on the PSU cables that have a dual 8-pin. On the 3rd PSU VGA port you can run the 5th card with the riser using a dual splitter cable and on the 4th PSU VGA port, you can run two risers with a dual splitter cable. For the last two risers run one riser per molex/sata cable on the PSU.

That sounds good but I only have 1 perif molex cable per psu and I'm using 1 cable with 2 plugs for pcie power on the motherboard and the other perif to molex is being used on the add2psu.

Is there any way round this?

Cheers
Steven
