First time when you have started the Nano S, you had to write down the seed (the 24 words).
If you have those words on your computer, you are fine (but I won't store the seed on an internet connected computer, anyway).
You have to buy a new Nano S and start to set it up, but instead of letting the Nano S generate a new seed for you, you have to use your existing 24 word seed.
Try to google, how to set up a new Nano S with an existing seed, e.g.:

First things first writting down 24phrase key (mnemonic) on your computer is a dumb move. You should keep it written down somewhere or soemthing else jsut keep it offline for better security. Of course that you can recover your funds since from those words you can generate private and public key pairs.

For this you can use some tool such as this one provided by coinomi wallet https://coinomi.com/recovery-phrase-tool.html simply download it for offline use, or check their github if you find it easier to check the code as it is open source. With this tool you can generate private keys so you will be able to import in literally any wallet in the future. There are however some software wallets that will accept 24 phrases as well.

Happy to see OP will probably be able to reclaim his bitcoin’s, I’ve seen some terrible stories over the years on here with people losing obscene amounts of money.

In as much as you have your pasphrase, Retrieving your funds won't be a problem. All you have to do is get another ledger, input your 24 phrase and you will get you fund back .

Please don't save your phrase on your computer, phrase should be saved offline

Thank you for your answer Do not worry my phrase key is listed on the small paper carried on the ledger. So far I have removed my computer from my computer to get it secured. But who can get my Ledger device can it open my account?

For Bitcoin you can just use Electrum and create new standard wallet with option that you have seed.Depending on do you have legacy or segwit wallet in Ledger you need to use different derivation path :

-For SegWit : /m/49'/0'/0'
-For Legacy : /m/44'/0'/0'

Regarding ETH,I am not sure is it possible to recover your wallet with just using seed and Ledger is have this solution Restoring your Ethers (ETH or ETC) without a Ledger Nano S, but this must be done offline on 100% clean computer because in this way your seed can be compromised. After this you can get private keys for ETH and import them to some ETH wallet.

Safest way is to buy new hardware device(Ledger or Trezor) and just enter your seed, assuming that your lost Ledger have good pin protection and not to come to the hands of an experienced hacker(for which the possibility is very small).

No... To be able to use your Ledger, they'd need to know your PIN number so they can unlock it. They only get 3 guesses and then the Ledger will factory reset and wipe itself (and your seed etc).

Myetherwallet will also let you input your 24 word seed directly in to their website and access your Ethereum and ERC20 tokens that way. Obviously, that is horrendously insecure, so you should only do it with the view to immediately moving your coins to a secure wallet.

Safest way is to buy new hardware device(Ledger or Trezor) and just enter your seed, assuming that your lost Ledger have good pin protection and not to come to the hands of an experienced hacker(for which the possibility is very small).

If he uses the latest Electrum, it should show buttons which will allow him to choose correct derivation path. However, the last digit must be changed to access different accounts.

Ledger Nano S wipes itself if the PIN was entered incorrect 3 times. If he needs to access his funds anytime soon, he should do it on an offline computer and sign transactions only there.

Next time, consider using a passphrase for additional security! Ledger Nano S allows you to attach your passphrase to another PIN so you don't have to enter the whole word every time you reconnect your device.
