It is a real thing, lad. The adult industry is like an opportunity for cryptocurrency to get investors or make more coins out of it for its uses in the internet and it is also an opportunity for the adult industry itself to get more buyers or purchasers in their exclusive contents. I agree, this announcement was far bigger then most people realized. Also keep in mind that people consume porn sites very secretive and do not like to use their creditcards. Being able to pay with a privacy coin is big. It will tske time though until you will see the volume pick up, most people in crypto are very young and do not pay for sex, but give this a bit time and you will see massive gains from holding Verge.

I have heard some guys are saying that this eventually is positive for the cryptocurrencies community, not because they can use the services like that more comfortably, but because this is a new big company which embraces blockchain technology.
