I found a project on bitcoinstarter, that I consider to invest in.

He offers an return as you can see here:

What kind of contract do I have with the project founder, if I give him BTC?
I mean I even don't know his name. Is it solely based on trust?

Since the project founder didn't supply any contact info or identifying information, you don't really have any recourse if they just run with the funds.

If there is no details provided then don't lend. Even when details are provided be cautious.
