Old retweets disappearing

It looks like when i am doing a lot of new retweets for bounty campaigns, my old ones from weeks ago are simultaneously disappearing (getting de-retweeted if thats a word)
To be sure i actually retweeted them in the first place, i double checked with my twitter history.
I noticed that after i started using an app for auto retweets, after that i stopped using it, but the problem is still there

Anyone else has a similar problem?

I don't use twitter but I've seen the same complains on other social media. This can potentially answer your curiosity.
