Exactly this. People fail to understand that the network hashrate has only been increasing due to the introduction of new ASICS and mining is not nearly as profitable as it was a couple months ago.

It's a funny cycle we have here... more people buying ASICs leads to the price of ASICs going down, which then leads to even more ASICs being bought.

The manufactures know this, which is why they use their own ASICs for a couple months before dumping it on the public.

One just sold on ebay for $1749.00

https://www.ebay.com/itm/MARCH-New-Halong-Dragonmint-T1-16T-W-PSU-Batch-1-March-Batch-IN-HAND/123085145584?hash=item1ca87245f0:g:okUAAOSwPb9ahjcK

Found one that sold for 1620 also.  So no way you are getting 2800 from anyone here hen you can run over to ebay and save $1000.

I figure it's worth about $1500 give or take a little.  Ebay guys are paying around $150.00 in fee's.

Probably still too high for people on these boards.  THey can just go buy them on eBay then anyways.

It cost you $200 to sell at 2k on ebay, maybe you should split that here or something.

Good luck.

so I just bought coupons from you and can buy S9 from bitmain new 13th/s with PSU 1150 minus coupon value $300 so it's only $850!!! Yes these are slightly more efficient and more TH/s I would give for this around 25% more so $1060... ok the very max $1100... of course it depends from country if they are already in USA USA buyer can pay something more considering taxes paid for me again and others it does not mean nothing since I will import to tax free zone... and other buyers to other countries

It does ship from USA as title states. Have sold 4 so far, 2 for 2500$ and 2 for 2k. Im not gonna sell for 1k, I bought batch 4 which was quite expensive. I wish I had saved the money and bought s9's with coupons :/

I like this when sellers compare how much they bought ... it doesn't matter ... Smiley even if you bought for million so what... this is market NOW...
if you sell in ebay good luck then...

It does matter though. Supply and demand, if most sellers aren't going to sell at a loss unless they desperately need money, or they think something is going obsolete. The ones going for 1600-1800 are all in hand, which means they paid 1300$(?) for batch one products. If sellers ask for higher prices, then buyers either pay higher prices, or wait for sellers to come down. The price you paid definitely has an influence on the market.

....except when the manufacturer you bought them from and that manufacturer's largest competitor keep selling the uniyts and driving the price down. ASIC's are not like other markets. ASIC's are a snake eating it's own tail. Sorry, the price you paid for a legacy technology ASIC means "nothing". I hope you launch them before Bitmain unloads both Barrels on Halong. Halong is squarely in their sites. Halong will be crushed. I promise you that.

....and what about their "largest competitor"? We can certainly say THEY'VE been rather busy flooding the streets with hashing power for mere pennies. You've heard of Bitmain no doubt?

I wouldn't be too worried about Bitmain crushing Halong because Halong isn't even miner manufacturer. Innosilicon is the actual manufacturer of ALL Halongs hardware.
