It's terrible, why do we have to wait 6 minutes to post something?

I wanted to make a thread and each time it said "You already made that thread!" No I fcking didn't. The warning came up when I tried to make a thread and it said "wait 360 seconds" so I waited 360 seconds, clicked it, "You already made that thread."

I think it might just be for newbies.  If someone could clarify that would be helpful as I just ran into this same problem.

it's to prevent spam by either newbies or advertisers. make some posts and wait until your activity has reached 15+, and you should be able to make posts without restrictions.

I believe the timer is started at the time you opened the response.

First post 00:00:00
Opened window to create a new post at 00:00:10 (10 seconds after the first post)
Wait 360
Click post - Post refers back to when you opened the window create the post (00:00:10) and says wait.

So wait 360 and then click create new post.
