Is Wanchain a sound investment or over hyped?

It definitely has lots of hype around it, what we do with hyped projects is give it time after the hype dies down and see whether it will continue going strong. Most of them eventual just disappear from the radar if they have been riding on hype

Wanchain is a very ambitious and potentially disruptive project, aiming to become a super financial market of the world. The project has some of the brightest minds in the business working behind it. Wanchain is solving a real world problem and has an immensely vital use case. I have complete confidence that Wanchain could easily be one of the top 15 cryptocurrencies by market cap by the end of 2018, and it would continue to grow even beyond that. Therefore, I believe holding Wancoins would be a great long-term investment.

What are you? Their marketing team? All the cryptocurrency projects brand themselves as disruptive and billion dollar market. While I agree that their team seems solid, cryptos are still pretty new and you really need to give them some time to prove themselves.

Not against with Wanchain but i would rather to prefer Byteball when it comes to have its own chain which isnt dependable into other existing alts in the market but well they have still lots of time to prove themselves that they are really worthy project. For now its being hyped up and for those who did buy in the lowest prices do make some serious profits.Its up to you as an investor to get out directly or hold it for long term.

I've seen a lot of hype over Wanchain. Many people were claiming many things about it and what it could be.

Apparently, 6 new ICOs are coming out on Wanchain. The projects look promising and it doesn't look like it has mooned yet or dumped. It's only been around since March 23rd according to CoinMarketCap. WAN is listed on KuCoin, where I have some funds currently, is it worth selling some PRL, OCN, and a couple others that I have profit with and move to WAN?

What price are you speculating with WAN? Both short term and long term.

It is hyped for sure. Is it overhyped, I don't know.

I do hear a lot of people talking about WAN like it's a hidden gem that will make them millions richer, which is a good sign that it's really hyped. But there needs to be a premise for a coin to get hyped, and obviously WAN is one of the better projects in terms of team and development.

Since it hasn't exactly skyrocketd yet, I think getting in at under $5 should be pretty profitable in the short run. But make sure you set your sells. I don't believe this to be a sound long term investment, but you can definitely profit off the short term price swings.

Wanchain has just solidly refreshed ATH on the news about Huobi listing. It's making already more than x2 for ~1.5 months since the 1st exchange listing. And yes i agree that WAN is overbought but EOS example makes me believe in some room  for WAN to keep growing.

The hype is real, and I'd say it is a solid investment, especially in the long term. I dont know why people say it's a shitcoin, the team behind it is credible, the roadmap and the plan is really good.

Just because other shitcoins are growing doesn't mean wanchain will too. In bull market/trends everything grows and makes it look like you are a genius at picking coins when in reality you are not. That being said, wanchain does have a great team behind it and they already have a working product but wanchain is already expensive so the room for growth might be smaller than other coins.

Of course not only because of that. And apart from what you've fairly mentioned, Wanchain has couple important events in the summer: integration with Ethereum in Wanchain 2.0 and release of multi-coin wallet. So room can be not so small. As for me i'm going to fix some profit on current levels and hold the rest several more months.

I think Wanchain is going to do well. It is hyped a lot but there are always some reasons for the hype. Ian Ballina who has a great ICO picking history has it as his top pick for this year.

Its s very undervalued project i think.Dont have it unfortunatelly.If to know its price new year 2017 and market cap,i doubt it will grow a lot more ath,but will get there easy.Its a strong investment

Wanchain is still very cheap comparing with others. Cobsider their technology, team and the community behind the project. it is not hard to predict that it will keep growing in bullish season.

Wanchain is a sound project, but to me the hype is more than the substance the team has delivered, I saw the price around $5 the last time I checked but there is no need to chase the price because there will certainly be another buy opportunity to buy in, just like ICON tokens then

if after checking project and reviews you still think project is highly priced bcoz of hype , then check the price movement .
and let them deliver what they claimed for first few quarters .
hype only remains for few month , you cant hide truth for long behind hype , one day it will get exposed . so wait for sometime if you are skeptical .
for me it is at very high price , so wanna wait first .

wanchain is one of the undervalued projects right now. it is one of the strongest blockchain projects and it is going to grow affter the updates in summer. it is very cheap and the market cap is very low right now comparing with other blockchain projects.

In as much as I do not have this wanchain, I think it is a good investment for now especially with the hype it is getting but not sure of what will happen to it as soon as the hype is dead. I am patiently waiting for this period to see how potential it is.
