Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Anything is possible. I'd say once the better and more innovative alts gain more attention that LTC is gonna go down.

The USD went up a bit, but that's all.

whew, glad i didn't pull the trigger on buying LTC yet. seem like it just keeps falling. maybe i'll get in at .009, or maybe i'll just watching it fall and not worry about catching the bottom. oh well.

Seems like it staying nominal. All coins seem like they are losing value, but the truth is BTC is inflating. So, the value for each coin is adjusted accordingly to BTC's price jump.

It's listed on quite the number of exchanges, and has an USD market unlike most coins, huh?

Lots to look forward to: mtgox, btcchina, coinbase. Bitpay have said they will consider being a payment processor for litecoin once a major exchange like mtgox or bitstamp launch litecoin trading. Development team for litecoin looking very strong and further differentiating litecoin from simple clones that add nothing. Lots of media exposure for litecoin and it's well known now as the number 2 coin to the newcomers flooding into the market. I expect great things in the next 12 months, with growth outperforming Bitcoin percentage wise considerably.
