Gambling portrayed negatively because of the main reason gambling can have a negative effect to the person involved. And also I think gambling can lead a person to be addicted,greedy and some will commit crimes just to get a money to feed their addiction.

Gambling addiction is same like drugs/smoke addiction though and the result is always negative, i'm sure there are many lifes that become ruined because of gambling and also gambling is a sin on all religions. Even in my country, gambling is banned here.

I think it is bigger addiction than that of drugs because it can happen that the drugs supply discontinues due to some reasons but these gambling casinos will never be stopped or banned in the country where gambling has more followers because these casinos are paying huge amount of taxes to the governments as well as other amounts.

It's not a negative way of earning , gambling is more like a easy sort of way for making quick cash and the chances of making that is possible but the problem is within the people who use this method, most of them do make profit but because of there greed they continue to gamble and lose it all. I think you have made a mistake here. There are some religions that do exist in this world which allow gambling for some reason. Not openly they say that O followers, go for gambling but they also allow them to gamble in some conditions. If the government would start allowing their people openly to gamble, their reputation in the international market would become zero.

It's not all about the religion. Everyone knows the consequences of gambling that's why it is portrayed negatively all over the world. In many countries gambling is prohibited. The only one reason is because most of the time we are losing in gambling, so the normal response would be negative because we didn't get what we wanted even though we did our best, but since our luck is not enough, we always lose against the house.
