Activity (at least on my account) equals posts.  So you could spend all day reading threads and learning, but have a lower activity rating than someone who posts a bunch of 'me too' posts that add nothing to the conversation.

It only equals posts up to 14.
And if you don't post anyways - why care about the restrictions? They're only for posting - not reading.

Good point, well, I usually spend all my free time on other forums as Reddit and mostly I read threads , and I rarely write comments.

Keep posting then Once every 6 minutes, and you'll get the restriction to lower and lower until you won't notice it.

That is correct, until you've been online and posted for a while, the restriction keeps going down. I've been here for 2 months and now it's about 27 seconds between posts that I have to wait. Nobody posts more than once per 27 seconds anyway so it's not really a restriction.

Yah, just sticking around for a while is usually the trick of learning how everything works.
Especially in a forum, where there are countless pages of information.
