Oh LOOK another Pre-order! That means they do not have a finished product and most likely this will be a giant fail. I like credit cards just the way they are.

What are the chances that Bitcoin will be able to interface with it?

None. Coz Onlycoin is vaporware.

Edit: It's a credit card holder in the picture. My bank gave me the same thingie for my card. It can be used to put inside only 1 (or 2 if u r strong enough) credit card.

actually, it's legit. i know a lot of people who have pre-ordered it already.

What name would you give to the smallest unit of bitcoin (0.00000001)? sat. What name would you give to 100 sats? bit. 1 bit = 1 uBTC. 1,000,000 bits = 1 BTC. It's bits

Legit means when people start actually receiving the product.
"Starts shipping Summer 2014" it's a turn off.

That looks pretty cool. I'm not sure what this has to do with Bitcoin though. It looks to me like this will only work with debit/credit cards. There seems to be major complications in creating a Bitcoin cred/debit card. There have been a few projects rumored to be in the works for over a year now, but nothing has come to fruition. I think it is probably pretty hard figuring out the regulation, KYC, negotiating with visa/mc/whatever. I really hope a Bitcoin debit/credit card exists one day.. that would be awesome. It doesn't seem like this is it though.

Very cool!  Although still based on a banking system that is utterly unsustainable.  So, more cool gadgets for a bankrupt, debt-based system.

Doesn't make sense made for Bitcoin.  Bitcoin only does Bitcoin.  What are you going to switch between, Bitcoin and...Bitcoin?  This made for Ripple, now that's useful.  Switch between Bitcoin, Litecoin, USD, EUR, etc....that would be a game changer for sure.

I won't be surprised if Coin interfaces with Bitcoin given the following:

So doesn’t this mean that if your phone dies, your Coin is useless? Perhaps it was this conundrum that attracted the attention of Osama Bedier, the former head of Google Wallet, who’s an investor in Coin. Bedier spent years attempting to make Wallet the NFC payments standard of future phones, but Google abandoned his work to pivot the product into yet another PayPal competitor.

Q. What kinds of cards can I store in my Coin?

A. Debit cards, credit cards, gift cards, loyalty cards and membership cards.

Its really cool.. but but their simple process of adding cards can get abused easily.
For example, if someone owns this onlycoin device and if by chance he got access to  someone else's credit card, he just need to swap it and take some pictures to make a credit card clone.

Could you not use this exact card to hold different wallets, e.g. BTC, LTC, etc..  They could be stored on the card and are sent to it via bluetooth. Then you could have a cellphone app that uses the 3.5mm headjack card reader to process the bitcoin payments. This would be like a Trezor, a cold storage computer, but one that you can fit in your wallet and actually use to make payments. Would this not work?

Hell, daily I hand my card over to complete strangers that anyone of them could rape me of thousands, but I'm more apt to protect my bitcoin storage devices, namely my laptop from strangers. Although, while I was in Atlanta, the same laptop was stored where they stored the coke in the room adjacent to BitPays office during the meetup, then the next day was hidden(?) underneath the Bitcoin Magazine table during the duration of the Bitcoin conference, even when Jason, Rassah, I, et al. left by foot to eat lunch a few blocks away.
