Provably Fair
Players who bet on bitcoins are almost always pro-users, and pro-users want fairness and security...here we are!

To guarantee the draw impartiality there are 3 keys:
 - Public key: random sha256 hash made public at the beginning and for the entire duration of each round.
 - TXT list hash: the MD5 hash of the text file (which everyone can download) that is generated at the end of each round and which contains all the bets, addresses, tx hash, public key and the verification block number.
 - Block hash key: when created by miners, the verification block hash.
The verification block is 2 blocks in the future from the last block generated when the round ends, this makes the outcome of the random totally unpredictable.
These 3 keys are combined together and passed to a PUBLIC script that will select the winner.
The most important thing: EVERYONE can see the keys and EVERYONE can verify the outcome of the final draw.

what is the HE? 0.001 sounds a bit high for a ticket IMO. many tried it and all closed down at the end

Thank you for your feedback, of course Satoshiround was not created by chance. In classic lotteries the prizes are higher and tickets are cheaper because they are based on the losses of other players and on the low probability of winning. for example, hypothetically if 100 tickets are sold, there may be zero winners, while on Satoshiround if there are only 2 players, one will be the winner.

Ive trying to spot out the deductions or HE for which i have observed he do gets 10k sats out of 100k sat bet amount which is 10% on each bet which is considered high and same as you said the bet amount was too expensive which it should be ideal if you make it lesser for people to get some interest but well having these kind of lottery games will surely failed up in the end. Not to be rude but most of the time this is what actually happens.

In a lottery winning 6x your bet is not very high. This can be done easily playing soccer ,ice hockey , basketball or tennis bets. I think that you need to lower the price of a ticket to 0.0001 bitcoin and increase the rewards.

By doing so you will have many more players interested to play and the jackpot will be higher. I like the 99 minutes lottery which is a new concept for me that I see for the first time here.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the bet size. Since this is an onchain type of gambling game.

The fees on the Bitcoin network can increase again and we will all be using 300-400 sat/byte to send transactions.

My advice is you can use a different currency like Bitcoin Cash and lower the bet size. Since that network is mostly empty and just looking for blocks to fill.

To help this site you need more incentives and bonuses however. Like the above poster has said, many will just go and bet on dice instead since it's faster and house edge is lower.

If you offered new gambler deposit bonuses or other prizes than it has a good chance of hitting off.

Hi BTCevo, Good question, I take this opportunity to explain everything better!
In round # 4, as you can see there are 4 bets, or 4 players have bought tickets.
Bet ID: 07 he bought 2 tickets
Bet ID: 08 he bought 1 tickets
Bet ID: 09 he bought 1 tickets
Bet ID: 10 he bought 3 tickets

To get bonus tickets, a player must purchase multiple tickets together:
• From 5 to 9 tickets you get 1 Bonus ticket
• From 10 to 49 tickets you get 5 Bonus tickets
etc. (see Bonus section on Satoshiround.com)
So, if you buy 5 tickets (0.005 BTC) you will get +1 bonus ticket, for a total of 6.

When a player buys a ticket, the ticket cost is added to the Jackpot prize and the house edge is subtracted to the total.

Right now, in round #7 (the round currently open as I write this post) a player has bought 3 tickets. Then, 0.001 x 3 - house edge = 0.0027

This means, for example, that if you buy another ticket in this round, the jackpot will become 0.001 x 4 (total sold tickets) - house edge = 0.0036 BTC up for grabs, and your winning odds will be 1 in 4.

If an additional player buys another ticket in the same round, the jackpot would become 0.001 x 5 - house edge = 0.0045 BTC and your odds of winning will be 1 in 5, because a total of 5 tickets have been sold and 1 belongs to you .

I hope this practical example will be useful to all those who would like to try Satoshiround.com but had doubts about how it works.

The "WHY" of the day

Why should I buy tickets if the Jackpot is 0.000?
Because the amount of tickets that you purchase will increase the Jackpot, inviting other players to buy tickets in order to try to win it.
When a second player, besides you, will buy a ticket, that amount will add to the Jackpot and one of you will win it.
If other players participate in the same round, the Jackpot will grow further.

And if the round ends and I'm the only player? OMG! Will I lose my tickets???
Obviously NO! No bet will be lost, simply the round will be automatically repeated until at least one other player buys tickets.
