Armory Online but Node offline on MAC High Sierre 10.13.4

Hi Guys,

Im trying to sort this issue out.
Im running Armory on MAC 10.13.4 (High Sierra) on a 512 Gig SSD Drive and trying to connect it to BCH chain.
here is how i set it up.
Please let me know if there anything wrong.

Download Bitcoin ABC Core Version 0.17, install on default path.
Download the whole blockchain after 2 days its in Synced.
Install Armory 0.96.4 RC3
Default path and installation.
BitcoinABC core is running in the background and its Synced.
Open Armory. It build the data base and check for transaction.
After all that, on the Dashboard it say, Armory Online but at the bottom, it say Node Offline(Block####)

What version of ABC are you running? Armory is not compatible with their newer stuff.

im running 0.17 of ABC. (Latest Version)
Tried with Version 0.16.1 and 0.16.2, both no luck.

EDIT: For Whatever reason, When using Version 0.17, when i check the debug log, i could see 127.0.0.1 connection getting drop and then get BAN.
While on the Version 16.1 and 16.2, i dont see any attempt of Armory trying to bind.

Now We know where the problem is.  Now just to think of a solution.  Any ideas?

Armory only ever worked with the very first version of ABC. I think 0.16 is too recent as well.

Can you point me to which version it worked with Armory?
Because i will have to rebuild the whole Blockchain for version older than 16... and that will take a whole day hahaha

Edit: I run the 15.1, i can see that it Binded to ABC but since that version is pretty old, im not connecting to any node...... One problem after another hehehe

Edit: Any way for me to force Bind Armory Connection to ABC?
Could i force Armory to use a Specify Port to bind to ABC?
