Do you guys recommend gdax or coinbase? They are both safe? They are easy to use?

They are actually the exact same company. The GDAX is for the more oritented day traders platform.

You can use coinbase to withdraw to a bank account after you get your identity confirmed. Takes a few weeks.

If you have a very small amount to sell you can usually do it instantly if you go to a btc ATM somewhere in your city.
Fee is higher of course.

There are also other brokers like Gemini, Bitstamp, Kraken. However they all require confirmed accounts for fiat withdraws.
