I'm in Ubon Ratchathani would enjoy a BTC meet-up, haven't been to Chiang Mai for a long time.

What dates are you considering?  Getting a bit close to Xmas/New Year.

My dates are quite flexible. So just let me know when you will come to meet. It will be good if more people will join.

As much as I would like a visit to Chiang Mai, I was just thinking that Bangkok would be a better venue as it more central in Thailand.

You would possibly get more people to attend.

Would have to put the word out and see if there is a good response.   Dates would need to be decided and a venue etc.

Do you know the guy who runs the Bitcoin Thailand-Facebook?  He is in Chiang Mai, I can't find his name at the moment.

Yes, I think you are right. Maybe it is easier to get more people in BKK. I don't know anybody who is playing BTC in CNX. Thanks for info. I will try to find him.

Glad more and more people come. Maybe we should arrange meetup at the end of this year or next year in Thailand. and choose the city that most people like to meet. Welcome more ideas. BTW, I changed the title of my original post for Thailand meetup.

btw, once bitcoin hits $1,000.. there are going to be lots of people out and about celebrating. i read in the thread that they will head to thailand for the "after party." you could meet plenty of enthusiastic people there very soon, as the $1,000 mark is not very far off.

ah i kinda miss thailand.. so cheap to live there, women all over the place... to live without a worry. sadly enough, if BTC hits $1,000, i still won't be able to afford the trip.

well at least the bright side is that there are LOTS of hookers in thailand. i would have thought that a lot of foreigners living in thailand would be free for meetups. from my experience, a lot of people come there to do nothing but chill all day at low cost.

i got relatives in BKK and yes when bitcoin reaches a magical number i will want to go visit them, i might even send some coins over first to get them to go to a meetup and get the coins converted with some friendly faces there. just so that i have some spending money for when i arrive Cheesy
