It looks like the bearish trend is slightly fading away. Alts are going up, but BTC has been going sideways for some weeks now. With Consensus coming up in May, what are your thoughts about BTC for short - medium term?
Also after the consensus will Bitcoin get increased media attention or will it go down after that?

People are now more confident into crypto.
If there aren't any negative news in next 30 days, like a big country restricting it, my prediction is that Bitcoin will cross the 10K and the whole crypto market will pass the 450B cap.

I think it will take a lot more than those fairly small rises to make people come back in to Bitcoin. Because the only way it's going to go up is by people rushing in because of fomo. And I don't think anybody's missing very much just now. It's such a big risk when the price is so high and you have to pay so much for just one coin or even a tiny part of a coin. Can't see it doing a lot in the near future.

My thoughts about BTC's price movements in short term is that it will rise slowly due to the upcoming consensus and the rest of the movements of btc after that will depend on public sentiment and the result of the concensus. In medium term, I predict price would go up and down for a few months, and we will see crazy rides until the end of the year.

I think price increases will happen in the next few months and more and more people are coming to invest in bitcoin. but for the near future there will be no major changes in bitcoin.

Looks $10,000 is at hand and that will be the support. Also after the consensus will Bitcoin get increased media attention or will it go down after that?
It gets attention and exposure so whether its good or bad publicity, it's still publicity so I think it will be positive. We have to be positive and optimistic.

Recently Bitcoin is volatile in Crypto market because many countries are against in this coin. But again this will move to forward in market so we should expect in mid term or long term but don't think short term. Bitcoin is implementing in few countries and many countries are discussing the Legalisation of Bitcoin so bright future is possible in Bitcoin.

No legalization can make bitcoin stable. On all exchanges are dominated by whales and I think they are responsible for the retail prices of bitcoin. Any attempt to legalize bitcoin can have negative results. I am confident that legalization will only reduce our profits.

Yes, All exchanges are dominated in whales but consumer is the important role in crypto market because I just check the census of China and India these two countries are occupy majority of the population so Legalisation is possible in these two countries automatically supply and demand is increasing constantly Bitcoin is going to moon. So profits also increasing gradually.

I am purely focusing on bottom development, and while we may experience a certain form of breakout this year, I am not entirely confident in the next main/base bottom to be marked at +$10,000 levels. My best guess is that the next one or two bottoms will still be below the $10,000 level, where hopefully, we in 2019 won't see anything below $10,000 ever again. Short term speaking, anything above $10,000 will be sufficient for me; there is nothing else for me to expect or look out for. The lower your expectations are, the less disappointed you will become in the short term market.
Currently everywhere on the internet and in the mainstream media you see people and 'experts' speculate about a breach of the $20,000 level, but that level of confidence hasn't reached me yet, and probably will not without anything happening justifying that sort of increase. Exchanges aren't ready for another bull run, that's for sure. If we do happen to go through another bull run, we probably end up with again, high fees, crippled exchanges, tons of complaints about this and that, etc. Sure, Segwit is doing its thing, but it's not enough when hype usage and spam attacks clutter the network badly. In other words, nothing has changed much.

Short term (next 6 weeks) I think a return to $10k is likely. I still hold out a little bit of possibility that bitcoin could turn lower, but it really seems that the past month we hit the bottom and have now started the move off of it. This idea seems to gain credibility in the fact that the altcoin market is also surging now so the whole market is coming back from a bottom, not just bitcoin making a bull trap surge. Also sentiment is getting much more positive than it was for the whole first quarter of 2018. There's no more weekly negative bombshells hitting week after week in the news.
More medium term I think a slow gain the rest of the year until it gets close to $20k late in the year likely, at which point FOMO will kick in again and a new hype phase will start. But for the short term I think a slow rocky return to $10k by end of May is likely.

People will come back to bitcoin when it's featured heavily in the press. And the press won't start talking about BTC again until we're over the $10,000 mark.

Bitcoin is likely to beat the last year ATH. Thus, $20k is most likely to get beaten this year. But according to me, if go by last year price cycle price is likely to go to upper levels and might touch even $30k price range. With almost 17 million supply, $30k would mean a mcap of $510 billion which is easy to reach with this rate of adotpion. I expect the whole cryptocurrency marketcap to cross $1 trillion threshold this year.

Most investors still thinks bitcoin is the safe haven asset. Recently we can see that Bitcoin was able to sustain some stability while many cryptocurrencies failed to keep stability. Some altcoins declined by more than 80% from their ATH and had a hard time to record gains against bitcoin. We can see that negative market sentiment is now vanishing - currently, we can observe a start of a new Bull Rally!

Yeah I'd say expect the whole market to hit 1 trillion at the end of this year and Bitcoin alone pass 1 trillion next year.

Short term-Expect BTC to range in between $8500-10k
Medium term-Expect BTC to range from $11-14k
Media effect-Doesn't matter which way you are trending the media will hop on it. Downswing, the media is there. Upswing, the media is there. Media attention will surely increase as we are now trending in one direction.

I think it is much higher price at which they return, probably even over 20k levels. That is what retail investors remember and on what they lost money, so they will be looking at that levels.

Short term prediction is that the price will consolidate first at $8500, with support levels lined up @ $8000 and $7800, and the final support boss @ $7000. Tax day is over, and the Americans are now free to buy up cryptoassets as much as they want and the overall negative market sentiment has somehow been alleviated. There are no signs of bearish presence available right now but that doesn't mean that they don't have any cards that they are playing with, so still tread carefully.

Even if altcoins are going up and bitcoin seems to remain steady, I know it won't be for long. I have great hope for bitcoin and I know when the price pump starts, it will be unstoppable. I have no price predictions for bitcoin because it's unpredictable. But I know the price will skyrocket steadily just like it did last year, but this time, it will be higher than $20,000.
