For instance, if someone stole my password, hacked the website, or a moderator wanted to; anyone could potentially make/change my alleged posts. By signing them, you can always have ~100% confidence that they're originating from the same person.

I also understand that you're concerned with my low post count. You may gain satisfaction from looking at my account creation date, which was earlier this year. You might also be interested in my extended online presence, which can be found here on my website.

Beyond that, I prefer the use of escrow (particularly John K's service, since he has so much trust on this site), which very significantly reduces risk in any online transaction. With escrow, the winner's money will be sent to a trusted, neutral person (a broker), who we both will agree to oversee the transaction. The broker will then send me the money only after you've received your product. Should I fail to meet the terms of sale, the broker will fairly return all of your money to you. Check out this article for more information on escrow.
