Bitcoin is a "roller coaster" partly because it grips your emotions and attention so strongly as it goes up and down. However, I've noticed that after it went over $400, I don't really feel that much anymore. This is probably deeply personal and depends at what price point you bought in at. I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced the same feeling.

It's not making the same kind of percentage gains anymore. $10 is 2%.

Like with any drug, tolerance is a bitch.

of course, it's the new normal. 1000 and 10,000 will be the same.

As a young musician, $1000 for a guitar was SO much money, I couldn't conceive of it. Now $1000 is very cheap to me compared to some of the vintage instruments I own.

It will be the same with bitcoin for all of us - enjoy the ride!

Sometimes, but when the wild swings of $50-$70 start that's when the fun begins

I recall a thread where someone speculated the effect of a 500,000 BTC coin dump by a whale.

Well, when that happens, and I wake up to see BTC went from 500.01 to 20 in less than 10 minutes. I will probably rekindle that emotion and vomit.

After I'm done vomiting however, I'll immediately sell sperm, plasma, a kidney, and testicle, run up my credit cards, take ut a personal loan, car title loan, and repo-man style use my organs as collateral and buy like there is no tomorrow.
