How much would it cost to start mining I mean how much would it cost to start mining on PC. And what Specs are the best for mining?

Let's say with GPUs it depends on which hardware you will choose such as motherboards, Processor, RAM, Storage, USB Riser, PSU, Type and Series of GPUs (NVIDIA or AMD).And what Specs are the best for mining?
Every miner has different judgments and each has the best option but for me, I have a few specs like this: - Asrock H81 Pro BTC R2 - G series processor - RAM DDR3 4 GB - SSD 128GB Samsung - USB Riser Ver008C - PSU Corsair - RX580 8GB (HIS and Powercolor)

If profitability is not your concern and just for a hobby or a test
You could start mining at a low or no cost and just use your existing PC's, CPU mining at the most
Best gear always depend on your requisites
you may require:
- lowpower cost with a decent hash
- Higher Hash and dont need a low electricity cost
- Low price gear with a decent hash over a certain coin algo
- High price Gear with a decent hash with a wide range of algo
- Higher hash, Low power cost, High pricing gear with risk of low or "0" resale value
basically, mining is not a want to buy candies in a store and choosing with a best taste from other people then buy
you have to consider your own environment and own taste which suitable and defines whats best for you

You need about 2k$ to build simple 1060 rig. You can try gradually build up 1070\Vega rig, starting with 1-2 gpu and buy more gpu from mining profit, but ROI for now looks not so good, and it can take a long time

Before making an investment, I would suggest learning more about mining and profitability. I see a lot of people throwing themselves head first in this when they don't have enough knowledge about it and end up regretting it. So, I would suggest mining with your CPU first rather than buying everything you need to start your first mining rig. Check this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2891680.0

Don't know if you posted this as a joke. Because those are horrible suggestions for a mining rig. They are maybe more suitable for a gaming rig. The 1080 is not a good GPU because it performs poorly with ETH You don't need an expensive i7 CPU You don't need such a large SSD either, an old spinable HDD is sufficient

At the moment it isn't the peofit it is just the experience. I just want to try mining but currently I only have a laptop so I am asking what specs is good for mining in PC , Because I also want to buy a PC and maybe use it into mining in the future so I could save some money right now if I buy a mining pc rather than just a regular one then after a month or two I would get interested in mining then I would have to build another one. You are welcome If you have any issues with the setup you can post in my CPU mining thread and I will try to help out with whatever I can. I think this is the best option for you at this point, you will learn a lot from this experience and after that you can make your own decision about buying new hardware, especially since the price of GPUs are very high nowadays.

Edit: missed the part you wanted a pc for regular use. That's how I started, you can really just build any pc with a good gpu for this. CPU, mem, and ram doesn't really matter. If you want to game you'll want to atleast get a decent cpu and 8gb ram. You could even get a case/mb that will fit 2 gpu's if you want so you can add second card later, but if you plan to go beyond 2 you're probably best off just building a dedicated rig. If you're willing to spend a little of money and want to go beyond cpu mining, you could build the barebones rig (PSU, MB, CPU, HDD, mem, risers, etc) and just add a pair of cards rather than 6 or more. Then if you want to continue all you have to do is just add cards as you can afford/want to. I'd just recommend getting a motherboard that will support at least 5 cards. For PSU you could start with a 750 and then add another 750 if you expand, i'd just look for one with at least 4 vga cables (EVGA 750 g1/g2/g3/p2 fits the bill). You can probably get everything but gpu's for $400-500 depending on part selection if you go this route, maybe even less. Beware its addictive, i went from 1 card to 18 cards in 4 months lol If profitability is not your concern and just for a hobby or a test

How much does this cost depend on what kind of mine you are digging? Basically the more high-quality the mine needs the equipment to be relatively advanced.

Well, for the start you need about $3-4k, that will give you some 3-4 gpus and rest will go for maibord, cpu memory and so on)) by gpu i meam some amd rx570 or nvidia gtx1070

it's not a joke, i like the i7 because of its performance, but if you want to use intel pentium xeon it will be better. using SSD to make it faster, it will reduce LAG

the cost of a normal farm of 3000 -3500 all that less does not have any sense, now mining for the poor does not fit, you need either to look for good money or to boast in the future in anticipation of just huge growth

Hardware is one thing but you should not forget to check how much you pay for electricity as it may ruin your profitability on the short term. You could always say you're there for the long run but whatever you do, those electricity bills will need to be paid

CPUs earn very little and is more risky to have them mining 24/7. Just get a cheap low cost and low power CPU and focus on GPU mining. You have to learn how to do the math and realize for yourself that mining with a CPU is not worth it.
