The old saying "A fool and his money are soon parted" rings very true in the crypto era. There are people who invest blindly in ICOs, without understanding the underlying product, but this takes it a step further. As long as people are ready to invest without basic due diligence, scamsters will continue to take advantage.
I think that the OP isn`t talking about the scammy ICOs,his post is about a phishing scam,that forces people to believe that they are investing in the real Telegram ICO,while they are just sending their crypto to the scammers.Phishing scams are older than bitcoin and the entire crypto industry.The Telegram ICO devs will have to raise awareness about this and make sure that all the investors will know which one is the legit Telegram ICO page.
